Will emerald glass like a diamond??
Yes … Moh's hardness of about 7.5 it can cut the glass hardness less than 5 … but not as easily as a diamond. But I suggest you not try this … Most emeralds are full of flaws and cleavage planes, making them brittle … you can easily chip the stone.
